At the Southeast Ohio History Center, we believe that the preservation of local history nurtures personal and community identity, teaches critical skills and independent thinking, builds vital places to live and work, enhances economic improvement, engages citizens in community problem solving, inspires leadership, and helps build and preserve a legacy for future generations. At our annual meeting in Nelsonville on Saturday, we recognized businesses and organizations who are helping these efforts.
