SEOHC is so happy to welcome Sharon Hatfield back for an updated presentation on Jonathan Koons and Mount Nebo! Join us on November 3rd at 5:30pm as Sharon celebrates the rerelease of her riveting novel, Enchanted Ground, and presents new findings and stories she’s collected over the last few years of investigation. Admission is free and a small reception with refreshments and snacks will follow.

The Phantom and Dennis James will return to the History Center once again! Doors will open at 6:30pm on November 4th and the production will begin at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone, or in person at the SOHC front desk. For online tickets, please use the link below.

SEOHC is reaching across the region to bring you a screening of Peerless City! November 15th at 5:30pm- come learn about Portsmouth, Oh, the “peerless city,” and the history of this riverside town, tucked into the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains! 

The History Center is so excited to bring you A Night of Appalachian Voices: Women of Southeast Ohio! We invite you to a night headlined by Ohio’s current poet Laureate, Kari Gunter-Seymore, and four other talented women from across the SE Ohio region! Admission is free and a small reception with refreshments and light snacks will follow the event.
