Join us Wednesday, April 13th and enjoy our showing of The General, along with Dennis James’s accompaniment on the organ!
Famed actor Buster Keaton produced and starred in this 1927 silent film. It is widely regarded as a highly entertaining movie that was inspired by a true story. The General combines fact and fiction- events straight from history and an inventive storyline full of heroism and impressive stunt work. With the American Civil War providing setting the background for the real life events which inspired the movie and the movie itself, it’s easy to see why themes of bravery and personal redemption are the highlights of the film.
Doors will open at 7:30pm to allow time to get snacks and your seats. The movie will begin at 8pm. We will have a small concession stand open with candy, pop, popcorn, and water available for purchase. Masks are strongly encouraged but not required.
